Fixing the Calendar With @media and Many Swears

The Sharepoint calendar system remains my closest friend and second most hated ally, after people who out people on facebook. It is super useful, after you train people to use it, which will take years and possibly a large carrot-shaped stick, one of the ugly ones that only vegans consume.

That being said, it has some weaknesses, one of which is printing. The thing used to print fine in 2007, but in 2010, someone applied misunderstood javascript magic to it, and now it simply doesn't go.

To add insult to injury, IE will override any javascript you write to fix it, no matter how beautifully you have applied the Modulo command.

Here is the fix.

1. Enter your CSS.
2. Dick with it until you're happy, here's some of mine, I assume that having patience with margin settings would help, and if you do it better let me know:

• These will more or less work when you go to print 
• in IE 7-9
• with your original window set to 100% 
• and your Print Preview window set to 60% 
• and your Orientation set to Landscape
• Yes, it certainly is a kludge, isn't it.
• But life isn't fair
• And it's almost patio season.
